improvements are being proposed?
The Municipality of Anchorage is proposing to extend Northwood
Drive, a urban minor arterial, approximately 1,100 linear
feet, proving a direct link between 88th Avenue and Dimond
Boulevard. The extension is expected to include bridge construction
(over Campbell Creek), road foundation, pavement, curb and
gutter, storm drainage, street lighting, pedestrian facilities
and landscaping.
The
first step is to obtain public comment and prepare a design
study report (DSR). If a decision is made to construct the
extension, the next step will include preliminary design,
permits, final design and construction.
